The PRS Artist Limited was built and assembled in 1995, #132 of a projected run of 200 guitars although they only actually made 165 of them.
Great appointments on this PRS Artist Limited, starting with a gorgeous flamed maple top, mahogany back and neck, gold hardware, solid gold bird inlays and abalone purfling along the neck and head. An added feature is the Eagle on the head stock and the PRS Artist limited on the truss rod cover, PRS Artist pickups, a five position selector switch, one volume one tone.
These guitars were the fifth in the series of PRS Artists, it started with the original artist then the artist two, three, four up to the PRS Artist Limited.
Some of the other features of this guitar that are unique to this particular instrument, is the trem bar instead of the stop tail piece, and the wide thin neck contrary to the wide fat neck on others and 22 frets making this somewhat of a rare guitar within the run of 165 that were actually built.
This PRS Artist Limited was sold by Rick back in 1995 to the original owner, who bought this guitar as an investment and has kept it in the case the entire time. The case that comes with it is the leather bound case which came with the higher end PRS guitars sold at the time, like the PRS Dragon, appropriately named presentation case.
PRS Guitars built these PRS Artists in ’94 – ’95. It is in absolutely pristine, unplayed condition, nothing wrong with it, it looks like it just came out to the show room floor. If you are a collector you will not be disappointed in the condition of this instrument.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of history while is still affordable!
