I've been experimenting with it a little bit each day, to learn how it reacts to my pedals, pups, and various guitars - Very pleased so far, and with a little more tweeking on my part, seems like it will cover nearly equivalent ground as my 65 Soho rig. For your own knowledge and consult to your customers who may be contemplating a unit from the 65 line-up, I cannot say enough how much the "bump" switch enhances the tone "fullness" of these amps - and it's NOT just a solo-booster - it enhances all tonality (imo), and still "cleans up" completely by simply lowering volume knob on guitar - I leave the bump switch "on" and never really turn it off, on both my Soho and Lil Elvis. Cabinet construction/shape on the Elvis is also one of the coolest I've ever seen - didn't really get the full effect of the design until I opened the box. It is a monsterous sound and I think it will be the one-arm "grab-and-go" amp I hoped it would be. Kudos to Dan, Peter, and the whole 65-amp team for another stellar product!
Hello Rick, I wanted to take a minute to let you know that I received the WEDGE units I ordered from you today. I found them both to be in excellent condition...cleaner even than the one I bought when they first came out...and I do baby my gear! I look forward to my next purchase from Guitar Hanger. Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm extremely impressed with my purchase of the used jet black Collings CL from you this past week. I noticed that your website description had it listed as excellent and I asked one of you about what imperfections prevented it from being labeled as mint. The gentleman noted some slight jean rivet wear on the back and the slightest pick scratches on the front. In the spirit of full-disclosure, he said it's a 9 out of 10, but that's not a 10 out of 10. I decided to order the guitar and I got it this past Thursday. It looked absolutely perfect to me, but I'm visually impaired, so I asked my dad to look at it, too. He looked at it closely and we held it up to the light, but both of us agreed that we really couldn't find anything wrong with it at all. Thus, I wanted to write because I think a store should get extra praise when they conservatively under-estimate the condition of the used items they sell. It's refreshing to find a vender who describes an arguably mint guitar as merely excellent rather than the other way around.
I received the guitar yesterday and I have to say I was even more amazed with it than I thought I would be. This Jackson PC-1 is gorgeous. I can't thank you enough for making my purchase easy. Also the setup was dead on and I am pretty picky when it comes to that. I just want to also say I look forward to doing business with you again. I will spread the word about your shop also. thanks again.
