You all have probably heard of the late George Harrison, perhaps one of the most infamous guitar players of all time as the somewhat overshadowed-but unabashedly brilliant- lead guitar player for The Beatles. His talent as a musician, if not reflected in his work with the Beatles, was highlighted through his successful solo career, after having what many consider to be the most successful solo career out of all of the Beatles.

Mick Ronson burst onto the scene in the early 70's as the band leader of ''The Spiders from Mars'', David Bowie's back up band that launched his Ziggy Stardust persona into the stratosphere of Rock & Roll history. Mick sanded down the top on the guitar because he was told it would improve the sound. Whether or not this is true, who can say, but it did make the guitar visually unmistakable.

his guitar is a faithful reproduction of Eric Clapton's Gibson SG , nicknamed "The Fool", which was painted to match Jack Bruce's bass guitar, givng the band a striking presence on stage that reflected their prowess as musicians.
