Gibson 1968 J160E Acoustic/Electric Guitar w/ HSC

Condition Used Good

One of Gibson’s early attempts at a production acoustic-electric guitar, this 1968 Gibson J-160e is a round-shouldered dreadnought with a single-coil pickup installed at the end of the fingerboard. This guitar features two control knobs, a Mahogany body, 3-ply laminated top and Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. This guitar has had a couple mods and repairs over the years, most notably the bridge has been changed and there is a solid clean headstock repair that looks like it was fixed decades ago. The back has had a few repaired humidity cracks. Its not one for the collection and definitely not priced as one. Its simply a good sounding and playing vintage J160e for the guy that’s gonna play it!
