The Gibson C-1 was one of a series of classical guitars Gibson introduced in the ’50s and ’60s. This guitar used Mahogany for its back and sides with a Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is in exceptional condition with excellent low action. Aside from some finish checking there is no damage cracks or repairs. Its a very clean example of Gibsons step into classical guitar building! Comes with what appears to be the original chipboard case! There is a 2 stamped under the serial number which usually meant at the time of production there was a minor finish flaw … something that has long been a non issue on this guitar!
