The 40th instrument to ever come off of Paul Reed Smith’s bench, this bass is a piece of history! Not only is this a rare PRS, it was built by Paul himself in 1986. The quality is second to none. Even in this early iteration of PRS, the innovations that made the company famous are clearly evident. Solid Mahogany body, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, active hum cancelling pickups, hip-shot drop D tuner on the E string, neck-through construction… this bass is amazing, any way you slice it.
