Description
This is part of a huge collection of guitars we are selling for a client who’s husband passed away 3 years ago. He was a man of discerning taste and kept the collection in impeccable condition. When I walked into the room of literally hundreds of guitars on display, all top shelf, desirable, unique and some very eclectic, I felt like I went to guitar heaven. I will be adding many more guitars to the site in the coming days.
This guitar is not a Rickenbacker even though it plays one on TV …. It’s a custom built one off from a french luthier named William Young who is a well known specialist in Rickenbacker restorations as well as custom builds. Since its build date in 2010 the tailpiece has been changed to a Bigsby. Its an easy switch back to the original style tailpiece if you wish but you would need to locate one. It is super clean and plays and sounds and looks great! If you are a Bigsby guy, it definitely gives it that “twang thing”. A very cool early Rickenbacker style guitar that won’t break the bank as the original Rickenbaker 360F’s typically sell for well over 10k. Comes with a hardshell case.
