Fender – 1977 Vintage Deluxe Reverb Combo Amplifier – Used

The Fender Deluxe Reverb is the most recorded guitar amplifier in history — the one that found its way into more recording studios, club stages, and rehearsal rooms than any other Fender amp, and the one that set the standard for what reverb and vibrato should sound like in a guitar amplifier.

The 22-watt 6V6 circuit tone is nearly identical to the earlier black face amps and can be readily serviced, the reliability is excellent, and the price is.

This 1977 example is in excellent condition featuring original black tolex, grille cloth, silver faceplate, original handle, all original transformer codes date it to 1977 with a grounded power cord. It is verified 1976 by serial number and component codes. This is a pre-pull-pot amp, which matters: the volume boost pull switch that changed the circuit was added at some point in 1977, making this one of the last pure pre-modification silverface Deluxe Reverbs. The reverb and vibrato are both fully functional.

The speaker is a non-original Weber P12R.

The amp just went through the shop getting a full service and we replaced one pot that was sheered off due to the plastic shafts used on pots from that time. We have a new knob ordered to replace the missing one and the amp will ship with that in place.

The amp sounds great and is in excellent condition needing no work. Just plug it in and play!
