The AAD51CE is an Advanced Acoustic series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2026. It is produced in China.
The AAD51CE features a grand dreadnought body shape with an Advanced Access cutaway constructed of a solid Sitka spruce top with X-M bracing and rounded body edge black binding on laminated sapele sides and back with a high gloss finish. The soundhole is round with an abalone rosette and a red tortoise pickguard. Additionally an A.I.R. port in the top side of the guitar directs sound toward the player; a removable cover is included. It has a low oval grip okoume neck with a 20-fret purpleheart fingerboard and white dot position markers. The tapered headstock sports the Ibanez logo in an italic block font.
Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a purpleheart bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of a T-Bar undersaddle pickup connected to an AEQ-TP2 preamp w/ on-board tuner and two-band EQ which feeds balanced XLR and ¼” output jacks.
The AAD51LCE is a left handed version. The AAD77CE is a similar model with flamed maple back and sides. The AAD70CE is a similar model with Macassar ebony back & sides. The AAD54E is a related model with an African mahogany top and without the cutaway body. The AAM50CE is a related model with a smaller advanced auditorium body, a shorter scale, and a simple waterslide rosette.
