Up for grabs is this very well kept USA Jarrett Zaffiro. It is in excellent playing condition and comes with a hard shell case.
Jarrett guitars were made in the USA in a small shop in Westport, Connecticut. The guitars are hand-built, custom shop level instruments. This model, the Zaffiro is a slightly larger bodied, chambered take on the Les Paul with the commensurate mahogany body with maple top and mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. The overall body shape is somewhat reminiscent of the Gibson L-5S.
The quality of the materials and the workmanship shine in this example. The maple top is highly flamed and the rosewood fingerboard is nice and dark. The guitar is highly resonant and has sustain that goes on for days. The playability is superb with low, fast action. The neck has a full, D-shape with noticeable shoulders.
