The Sigma SDR-35 acoustic guitar, produced in Korea from approximately 1984 to 1994, is a dreadnought-style instrument designed as a high-quality, affordable alternative to the Martin D-35, commissioned by C.F. Martin & Co. It features a solid Sitka spruce top for bright, resonant tone and a three-piece solid Indian rosewood back with solid Indian rosewood sides, delivering rich, warm tonal warmth with strong projection and punchy mids. The mahogany neck, with a low-profile shape, ensures comfortable playability, while the ebony fretboard and bridge enhance clarity and sustain. It has a 25.4-inch scale length, a 1-3/4-inch neck width at the nut, and a 14-fret body joint.
This guitar plays and sounds fantastic with nice low action and only minor signs of use.
