MXR – M 164 Commande Overdrive Effect Pedal – Used

Part of the Commande series of MXR (pre-Dunlop), the M164 is overdrive pedal with very amp-like break up. The tone incorporates the best aspects of a Tube Screamer with the best aspects of the Distortion +. As per standard for a lot of 1908s pedals, the M-164 features an economical plastic enclosure. Internally, however, the M-164 features Malaysian RC4558P as used in the early TS-808s.
